Agogoo’s Security Measures for Delivery

To protect both buyers and sellers, Agogoo Marketplace has implemented two critical security measures to ensure safe and successful deliveries, which must be completed within the timescale set by the store or otherwise agreed upon. Sellers or businesses must contact the customer about any delays or changes to their delivery. These are our steps to authenticate any delivery as follows:

  1. Photo Verification:

    • Delivery services must take a photo of the product or item as part of the delivery process. This photo must clearly show the package being delivered to the customer’s address or placed at a secure location. This helps verify that the product was delivered successfully and in the right condition.
  2. Delivery Code:

    • Customers must provide a delivery code to complete the delivery process. After placing an order, the customer will receive a 4-digit delivery code on their order screen. This code must be provided to the delivery service when the item is delivered.
    • Failure to provide this code will result in non-delivery of the product. The delivery service will not complete the delivery without this code, ensuring the security and verification of the transaction.

Shipping and Delivery Process

  1. Order Dispatch:

    • Once an order is confirmed, the seller is responsible for dispatching the product to the customer using their chosen shipping method.
  2. Delivery Confirmation:

    • Upon delivery, the shipping service provider must take a photo of the package being delivered to the customer and include this in the delivery documentation.
    • The customer is required to provide the 4-digit delivery code to verify that they received the correct item.
  3. Failure to Deliver:

    • If the delivery service does not receive the correct 4-digit code from the customer or if the photo verification is not completed, the item will not be successfully delivered.
    • In such cases, the seller will be responsible for resolving the delivery issue and ensuring that the customer receives their product.

Important Notes for Sellers and Customers

  • Sellers must ensure proper packaging to prevent any damage during transit.
  • Sellers are required to maintain transparency regarding shipping costs and delivery times, clearly communicating this information to the customer during the order process.
  • Agogoo Marketplace does not take responsibility for any delays, damages, or issues related to the shippingprocess. These concerns must be resolved between the seller and the customer.
  • Customers should be aware of additional charges related to shipping, which are determined by the seller and may vary by location.
  • Sellers are encouraged to provide tracking information for customers whenever possible, to keep them informed about the status of their order.
