Agogoo Marketplace Cancellation Policy for Sellers

At Agogoo Marketplace, we strive to provide a seamless experience for businesses on our platform. However, we understand that circumstances may change, and businesses may choose to leave the platform. Below is the policy outlining the process and implications for sellers who decide to cancel their accounts or delete their business profile on Agogoo Marketplace.

Cancellation of Business Account

Sellers who wish to cancel their Agogoo Marketplace account can do so at any time by following these steps:

  1. Initiating Cancellation:

    • To cancel your account, log into your business profile on the Agogoo app or website and navigate to the Account Settings section. From there, you can initiate the cancellation process. Alternatively, you can contact Agogoo's support team at support@agogoo.africa for assistance in canceling your account.
  2. Data Deletion:

    • Once your account is canceled, all data related to your business profile will be permanently deleted from the Agogoo platform. This includes all transaction history, product listings, customer interactions, and any other data associated with your account.
    • We advise you to download or back up any important data (such as orders, invoices, and customer details) before proceeding with the cancellation. You can request this data from your account at any time before cancellation.
  3. Data Retention:

    • Important: Agogoo Marketplace does not retain any business data after the cancellation of your account. Once your account is deleted, we no longer have access to or store any information related to your business. All personal and business data is permanently erased from our system.
    • If you wish to retrieve any data before deletion, it is your responsibility to make the request and download it from your account on the app or website. Once the account is deleted, we cannot retrieve any of this data for you.
  4. Returning Sellers:

    • If you decide to return to Agogoo Marketplace after deleting your business account, you will need to register again as a new seller. This includes providing new contact information and setting up your business profile from scratch.
    • Please note that returning sellers will not be able to access any data or information from their previous account once it has been deleted.

Important Notes

  • Account Deletion is Permanent: Once your account is deleted, there is no way to recover any business information. Please be sure about your decision before proceeding.
  • No Refunds or Credits: Cancellation of your account does not entitle you to any refunds or credits for any services or fees paid while your account was active. All ongoing transactions, including any open orders, should be resolved before initiating cancellation.
  • Ongoing Obligations: If there are any ongoing transactions, disputes, or obligations with customers at the time of cancellation, these must be resolved by you prior to account deletion. Agogoo Marketplace will not intervene in post-cancellation disputes.
